About

From Rome to Michigan to London.

Sarah McCurrach is a classical actress based in London, England. Growing up, Sarah had the privilege to call many places home before her family settled in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Having just finished training to receive her MA in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), she hopes to have a transatlantic career. She is also a classical singer, versed in opera, jazz, contemporary, and musical theater.

A proud member of the nerodivergent community, she was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 6. Sarah struggled academically due to the major gap in the school system for children like her, those who simply learn differently. She found solace in theatre and performance. After years of training, she is turning her dream of becoming a professional actress into a reality.

She has had the opportunity to not only train and perform in the United Kingdom, but also Germany, Austria, Italy, and the Czech Republic. She welcomes opportunities that will allow her to continue creating art around the world, as she credits her many travels to her fluidity as an artist.

An avid activist for intersectional social justice, Sarah is interested in roles highlighting the complexities and struggles of female identities, both historically and currently. Through her ability to portray intensity and comedy, she hopes to bring to life difficult stories that tackle political and social themes.

Outside of the arts, Sarah is an avid athlete and can be found training in the boxing ring, running, and weightlifting.
